Do you ever get bored on Sunday afternoon? of course you do, I’d like recommend some really interesting places to visit and wonderful things you can do in Auckland.

I’d definitely recommend Rangitoto island and Dovonport village you can go. Rangitoto island is the largest and youngest of fifty volcanoes in Auckland and Dovonport is historical village.  you can  take a ferry from Auckland city harbour to Rangitoto and drop to Dovonport  on the  way back to city. the ticket price is $26.00 for a adult.

RangitotoIsland is located just off the Auckland coast. This 600 years old volcano boasts a unique landscape of lava crops, lush native bush and sandy covers.  You can explore all of them when you take a walk to the top. you also can enjoy the fantastic view across to Auckland city and beyond. You may spend half day there and make sure you  take plenty water  and some snacks. There is no shop in Rangitoto. And you need wear a pair good walking shoes.

After Rangitoto activities, you may get off the ferry to  Dovonport  on the way back to city.Dovonport which is an important histrical village with naval base and mount victoria and north head gun emplacements which were used to defend Auckland against any japanese attack in second war.you can go to the top of mount victoria and  see the terrific  ocean view. I am sure you will enjoy the exceptional experience.
